The Constitution only provides an attorney to an individual prior to their conviction. After conviction, the law often requires the appointment of an attorney for an appeal. However, as a matter of practice, 95% of federal prisoners never see nor speak to their appellate attorney. Once your appeal is over, the individual has one year to challenge his conviction, and must do so without the assistance of an attorney. In other words, in one year, a prisoner must become an expert of a thousand years of Habeas Corpus law – a virtually impossible task. Once Amodeo was in prison, some fortunate prisoners had an excellent attorney representing them for free. The rule was, they only quit when Frank wins. The inmates smile, because they finally had a real attorney – someone dedicated to their best interest without regard to money or time. Amodeo’s advocacy shows what happens when you have a sincere advocate who interacts with his clients and learns their case.

As of June 26, 2022, Amodeo has corrected 741 sentences and relieved inmates of 1,997 unneeded years of imprisonment, saving the American taxpayer $125 million.
